Scope
MCO P1400.32D, Volume 2 of the Marine Corps Promotion Manual, sets policy and procedures for enlisted promotions. The manual covers cutting scores, composite scores, time-in-grade and time-in-service requirements, PME completion for promotion, special-promotion programs, meritorious promotion, frocking, and Recruiter Specialty Promotion. Short title MARCORPROMMAN Vol 2, ENLPROM.
Audience
Every enlisted Marine reads this manual to understand their promotion path. Career planners and monitors apply it to assignment and promotion decisions. S-1 and unit administrators process the promotion warrants and entries in MCTFS. Commanders sign warrants and frocking authorizations under this manual.
