Scope
PAA 09-11 covers two topics. First, the Under Secretary of Defense memorandum dated 26 April 2011 designated Imminent Danger Areas for Imminent Danger Pay (IDP) purposes effective 19 March 2011. Marines on duty in the designated areas during any month or portion of a month qualify for IDP. Second, the advisory issues an interim change to IRAM paragraph 4006.3E to align with a change to MCO P1400.32D paragraph 1204.5 covering Privates through Corporals not recommended for promotion.
