Scope
MARADMIN 199/26 announces the release of the revised MCO 1500.63A Marine Corps Common Military Training Requirements. The revision aligns with the SECWAR Memorandum dated 2025-09-30 directing the reduction of mandatory training requirements. CMT requirements shift from annual to biennial frequency unless otherwise directed. The MARADMIN is a coordinated message between DC T&E and DC M&RA. Applicability is the Total Force.
Audience
- Service-level CMT content owners. Review training content for compliance. Submit content to TECOM TSD for MCTIMS publication.
- Initial Entry-Level Schools (Marine Corps Recruit Depot, The Basic School). Implement POI changes and submit revised POIs to TECOM TSD.
- Commanders and Supporting Establishments. Verify training completion dates align with revisions made to MCTIMS reporting codes. Report MCTIMS discrepancies to TECOM TSD.
- Unit training officers and S-3 training shops. Align unit training to the biennial cadence under reference (B).
- Marines who completed non-core CMT in calendar year 2025. Current through calendar year 2027.
- Marines who did not complete non-core CMT in calendar year 2025. Due for training in calendar year 2026.

Constraints

- Waiver authority. The first General Officer in the individual chain of command.
