Operative content

• Effective 2026-06-13, CitiManager requires a three-checkbox Permanent Account Closure confirmation before a closure executes. The pop-up activates the Permanently Close Account button only after all three acknowledgements.
• Closed - Temporary Block is the only closure status the APC is able to reverse. Every other Closed dropdown option in CitiManager Individual Online Maintenance and Bulk UI triggers permanent closure.
• A permanent closure forces the cardholder to reapply for a new card. Portal guidance prices the mistake at a 60 to 90 day reapproval cycle and an audit finding on the next IGMC GTCCP FA inspection.
• Portal guidance to APCs. Verify the intended status before clicking. When in doubt, select Closed - Temporary Block so the account stays reversible.
